Cardiopulmonary

Once a patient has been discharged from a hospital setting rehabilitation center, it is common to refer for continued therapy in an outpatient setting. Our patients who need oxygen or suffer from breathing difficulties including emphysema, asthma, chronic bronchitis, and pulmonary fibrosis can significantly benefit from physical therapy. We implement a plan of care designed to address deficits in breathing and help you overcome your physical limitations associated with your pulmonary dysfunction.

Physical therapy improves your endurance and gives you strategies to be more active with less difficulty resulting in more energy and improved tolerance to carrying out activities of daily living. We emphasize regaining activity tolerance and independence.
